Riverside Stay Memories
comfortable bed hot water complimentary toiletries
The room had both a double and a single bed. The bed was very comfortable, I slept soundly. The shower over the bath provided plenty of hot water and complimentary toiletries. I had everything I needed.
Door slams sometimes disturbed the otherwise peaceful setting.

The breakfast was amazing, a lovely start to the day. The pub restaurant had nice food and beers. I recommend the prince bishop. The staff were great there.

Check-in was easy, easy I must say. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt welcome. They clearly take pride in their work and want guests to have a good time.

The location allowed short walks to the Riverside park. It provided a nice escape. I enjoyed the no noise around. A great plus was only a short drive to the city centre.

The room was big enough and clean. Everything was tidy. The brewery with its outdoor area provides many seating places. The beer garden looked inviting and spacious.

the room was a triple room. the bathroom had a super hot shower and soap was provided. many tables were available for dining.

a mixed experience
musty smell thin walls
the room smelled musty this was a bit off putting the room did not seem properly ventilated i also found that the price was a bit high given the overall condition of the room it felt overpriced for just a short stay furthermore the walls seemed thin i could hear noise from adjacent rooms quite clearly this lack of soundproofing detracted from any sense of tranquility

outdoor seating double room thin towels basic lodging
the double room was spacious, nice and neat. the pub on site was convenient, a real bonus after a long day. it had lots of outdoor seating available.
i reminded me of the lodging was pretty basic. the thin towels weren't ideal and there was no wi-fi available. i would have preferred thicker towels.

Convenient Stop on Hadrian's Wall Path
great location friendly staff helpful staff
The location worked well. It sits just yards off Hadrian's Wall Path. This was greatly appreciated after a long hike. The staff were friendly and helpful with all my needs.
The room was a little tired. The bathroom blind was broken and covered in mould. I also found the water temperature in the shower to be inconsistent.

Dinner was very good. The pub, part of the hotel, serves good food. They offer excellent English breakfasts and also feature real ales brewed on site with reasonable prices.

My room was spacious and clean. It had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and I could open the window and the curtains cut out the light so I slept well.
Service

The staff helped me with a 24-hour cab service. I observed that staff were friendly and helpful when other guests required some assistance.
